Help me give my students a computer station to learn researching skills and engage in exciting reading intervention programs.

All students deserve a fair chance of being successful in today's modern changing society. With the advancements of technology, it is imperative that inner-city students have access to consistent technology in order to bridge the achievement gap. Computer-based dependency is becoming the new norm in the world in which we live.
My students are lively and always so eager to try new learning experiences.
The students that I serve are considered at-risk youth and lack basic resources. Unfortunately, most of these students do not have access to the internet, computers, or consistent means to conduct research. While they are tech-savvy in regard to social media platforms, even this is limited to cell phone use. They lack computer literacy skills that we all need to be successful.
Technology in the classroom is a luxury that is needed but is often sacrificed due to funding in urban demographics. Implementing a technology-based learning station will allow me to monitor my students' areas of growth and regression through engaging and interactive online reading programs.
Incorporating a technology station will allow me to leverage multiple reading interventions to increase the students' performance levels while preparing them for the newest and fastest-growing life skills, technology!
Reading is the foundation to all learning, and this project will help readers maximize their full potential and refine their critical thinking and analytical skills while having fun.
