Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want my students to want to attend school! Our school theme this year is Disneyland. My room is to be Space Mountain from Tomorrowland. I am embracing the theme by providing a room that students will want to come to.
I love my students and want them to enjoy our room as much as I do.
While borders and posters will help, I want them to experience space by adding lights with stars and spaceships. I will provide a calming corner to hug the plush space items. A spaceman, stress balls formed like the plants, will calm them and get them to where they need to be. Students learn better when they feel safe and want to be in school. I will be providing this to the students with a space mountain-themed classroom.
