My Project

New and improved art supplies would greatly support students’ creativity, skill development, and confidence in art class. When students have access to quality materials—such as reliable paints, sturdy brushes, and a variety of drawing tools—they are better able to focus on learning techniques and expressing their ideas rather than struggling with worn-out or limited resources. These materials also allow students to explore different artistic processes, practice problem-solving, and build patience and persistence—skills that benefit them both in school and in everyday life. In addition, updated supplies can support collaboration across other Specials classes, allowing materials to be shared for interdisciplinary projects in areas like music, theater, or other creative activities. Overall, better resources create a richer learning environment where students can experiment, collaborate, and develop skills that extend beyond the art room.
