My Project
Hello my generous donors! For this project, I am seeking a classroom set of The Freedom Writer's Diary for my Seniors. My students struggle with engaging in novels and reading for that matter. The book I have chosen, The Freedom Writer's Diary, has peaked the interest of even my most reluctant readers and I will do everything that I can to get my students to love reading.
I have selected the book specifically because I know a lot of my students can relate to the students in the book and their real life experiences that they share.
My hope is that they gain a love of reading and are able to read a novel without it being a chore but rather a choice.
