The Foundation of a Calming Corner

Help me give my students a quiet calm space to relax and center themselves before getting back to the hard work we do day in and day out.

My Project

The room dividers provide a refuge for students who are finding all of the different challenges that arise each day to stimulating. Used in tandem with a variety of other sensory activities, students can escape the grueling demands of the academic day and explore the provided sensory items on their own terms. This is a proven way young scholars can center themselves before returning to finish all of their academic expectations. Additionally, the dividers reduce distractions for students seeking peace, as well as for students who haven't yet/currently do not need a break.
