This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I serve a community of students who have diverse needs, yet are unique in their learning styles and abilities. My students are creative scholars who use the arts, and other instructional methods to learn whatever skill needed for mastery. I love the passion each student brings to my class.

The students I serve enter my classroom with a great expectancy of learning in some crazy, wild, yet innovative way.

They are receptive of new learning and any project put before them!

My Project

Writing papers are never easy, and what makes it worse, is writing in an uncomfortable environment. Through your help and this project, my students will embark upon writing in an innovative, creative environment that is flexible for them. As a student and a teacher, in order to get the knowledge "juice" flowing, we have to be comfortable, and not so structured. Through both the flexible seating, such as stools, and the "WRITING PROCESS" folders, my students will learn in a unique way, write according to the academic writing process, and furthermore become successful writers and scholars. Your help will make a complete difference in each one of my students lives. I'll be sure to post a picture and update you weekly of how your contribution led to their success!
