My Students

I have a large group of students in a small classroom, with many different needs. Some students are economically disadvantaged, some are English Language Learners, and some receive Special Education Services.

Being that there is such a large amount of students in my classroom and it's a tight fit, we like to use all areas of the classroom to conduct learning.

We move around a lot so that students don't get bored! I am hoping that every time I add to my classroom, my students will be more excited to be here at school.

My Project

I am creating this project to use extra donations I received for my stools for my classroom. The stools will be used at my guided reading table (and the table where students go for extra help in any subject area).

Students need stools they can rock in while they work so the stools aren't broken easily and will last for several years to come!

I currently do not have enough stools at my back table so students are always kneeling or moving their chairs from their desk to the back table. This will definitely help with the fluidity and transitions of my classroom, as well as giving students enough space at the back table to get help!
