My Project

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, every student started the school year with a math supply starter kit filled with essentials like a math notebook, dry erase board, glue stick, and writing tools. These tools helped us hit the ground running—taking notes, engaging in hands-on learning, and practicing study skills. . We’ve used them daily to complete interactive activities, explore new ideas and document our learning. However, by the end of the school year, not all students are able to replenish their kits.

Your support will provide writing tools, glue, and note cards so students can continue organizing their math notebooks, build personalized study aids, and create color-coded graphic organizers that connect big ideas across the curriculum.

During the final month before exams, my Algebra 2 students are pushing through the last key concepts of the year. We’ve made incredible use of our notebooks and flash card decks, and now we need your help to finish strong. With small coordinate planes, students can review graphing and customize them for their flashcards. Laminated station materials will guide students as they review and practice collaboratively in small groups inside and outside of the classroom. The labels and envelopes will help identify the review activities as they are created and then stored in the drawers with classroom supplies.

This project will not only reduce the burden on families to restock supplies but will also allow us to wrap up the year with engaging, hands-on review activities. With your help, we can make sure every student is fully equipped to review confidently and succeed on their final exam!
