My Project
Our parents' workshop will directly engage students in learning about healthy eating and sustainability through hands-on gardening. Parents will participate in a workshop on how to start a vegetable garden at home, using the seeds, planting pots, gloves and other supplied materials. This empowers them to then guide their children in planting, nurturing, and harvesting their own vegetables. By actively participating in the garden's growth, students will gain a deeper understanding of healthy food choices and the importance of sustainable practices.
Teaching parents on how to start a vegetable garden with their children will positively impact our community and promote healthy eating habits and sustainable living.
This project fosters a love of learning and a connection to nature, all while promoting healthy habits within our school community.
