My Students

The students on our third grade team are amazing! They work hard, like hands-on projects, and have a zest for learning. We are a STEAM magnet school that focuses on Defining Design. We help our students use their critical thinking skills to solve problems.

We are a Learner Active Technology Infused school where students take charge of their learning.

They make their own schedules, choose activities that match their individual learning styles and create projects that demonstrate their learning.

Funding this project will help our students be excited about their learning, work together to solve problems, improve their math skills, increase their research skills, and feel excited about having the future of technology in our very own classrooms!

My Project

Every student on our team is so intrigued by the one Echo Dot in our pod. They hear it playing relaxing music, testing our math fluency, researching various topics, and all doing all sorts of other amazing things! Now everyone wants one! I have researched some ways we can use the Dot in an educational setting. So far, we have used it to practice math fluency, learn and spell new vocabulary words, research information, and just enjoy some relaxing music. I can’t even imagine the possibilities for our students! Actually, many of our students have similar devices at home and can help the teachers use them in the most beneficial ways! Thank you for making learning fun and exciting for our kids!
