These supplies will enable our students to use teamwork in a variety of subject areas. They will use the supplies to solve mathematical puzzles and equations together and work through solutions that will open each locked box. While learning about maps, they might have to identify the types of maps and use map elements to crack the code. While learning about the effective use of technology, students can use QR codes and flash drives to supplement the lock box activities. Hands-on opportunities like this make learning more fun and meaningful for our students. In Language Arts, they might use story elements and comprehension questions to unlock the boxes. In Science, they might have to go through the steps of the scientific process to solve a riddle.
