My Students

"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or in the same way." - George Evans

Our classroom is filled with leaders and learners who strive for academic excellence!

Regardless of their backgrounds and situations, these amazing kids come to school every day with a ready-to-learn attitude and a smile on their faces.

If you take a walk through my classroom, you would definitely see my passion for education and attention to detail. Each school year, I strive to create a classroom that is both conducive to learning and functional. My students are migrant learners who live on a reservation. They are eager to learn despite the odds they have against them in their lives. At our school, we do everything we can to help them be college and career ready. This includes being people who are hard workers and excited to learn.

My Project

Something so simple, as a pencil, a homework folder, and a pencil can make a big difference to a needy student. Having adequate supplies to do school work and homework can brighten a students day. This makes learning inside and outside the classroom easier.

When my students walk through the door with school supplies in hand, that's one less thing they have to worry about.

Homework is an everyday thing in my classroom. Students will bring homework that is crumpled in their backpack because they tore or lost their homework folder. A few of my students are struggling to do homework at home because they are still learning how to properly write with a pencil. Completing assignments and returning homework can be a struggle when you don't have the supplies needed to succeed.

These jumbo pencils and pencil grips will help my students be successful while writing in class and at home. Some of my students do not have a great support system at home that reminds them to do their homework every night. These treasure box prizes will help my students feel motivated to complete their homework each night so they can earn a reward. When we do our math homework, sometimes it requires us to color shapes certain colors. We are need of pink and red crayons to complete these math worksheets.
