The CREW - Crafts and Beading Teach Work Skills

My students need Mod Podge and the cording to make Magnets, Coasters, Jewelry and other Craft Projects. The drying rack will help since space is limited in the classroom.

My Students

Remember the excitement of making something beautiful that you gave to someone as a gift? My students make lovely crafts and learn the life and work skills needed to be successful in the work environment.

We are The C.R.E.W - Creating Responsible and Educated Workers.

A class of public high school students 9th-12th grade. My kids come from all different abilities, both cognitive and physical. They work as a team to make jewelry, greeting cards, magnets, coasters and many other projects as they learn the skills they will need to be successful out in the work environment.

My Project

My students will be able to make a more diverse group of projects with these donations. They feel so successful when they create new items for the group. Any creative idea is approached. Making soap was new idea last school year and a huge success. This year we have added coasters and magnets and beaded scarves, to the greeting cards, lanyards, jewelery and other items from prior years.

These projects and crafts items are so important to my students self esteem.

All the students participate no matter what level of ability they have. The growth and change from 9th to 12th grade is amazing and really inspiring.
