This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from low-income families and do not have access to air conditioning at home. As a result, they may come to school feeling hot and uncomfortable on hot days. The heat can also make it difficult for students to concentrate and learn. Having an air cooler in our classroom would be of great help to keep my students cool and comfortable. Our students are easily distracted and being hot and sweaty can prevent them from performing at their best. With the air cooler, my students will be able to stay relaxed and focused while developing their social and academic skills. An air cooler would make a huge difference in our classroom. This would make my class the coolest place to learn!
