The Cool and Clean Food Garden

Help me give my students the tools they need to support the success of their mala (dryland garden) by purchasing the irrigation supplies for watering, cleaning supply to support cleanup, and a standup fan to keep them cool.

My Project

At the end of the first quarter my 6th, 7th, and 8th graders created a plan for their own food garden outside of their classroom. This project provides the irrigation equipment to support a successful maintaining of watering for plants even in the absence of students and teachers over periods of long breaks from school. The cleaning equipment is to support cleaning around the classroom throughout the project as it will get a little messy. The place where the garden will be planted is very hot, but very close to the classroom and a cool fan will support the prevention of overheating for all.
