My Project

I am requesting a cooking griddle, oven mitts, food containers, a vacuum sealer machine and an ice cream maker for my classroom and our school's new cooking room.

Cooking provides an opportunity to teach children about nutrition and healthy eating habits.

By involving them in the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks, you can help them develop a positive attitude towards healthy foods and make healthier food choices in the future. Cooking involves tasks that require precise movements, such as pouring, stirring, chopping, and measuring.

These activities help children develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Having a cooking room allows students to follow recipes. Having a cooking room in the school lets children learn to take turns, cooperate, and communicate effectively with their peers and adults in the kitchen.

Overall, cooking provide a holistic learning experience that promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development in preschoolers, making it an important component of early childhood education.
