My Project
Our school is full of young learners with big hearts and even bigger potential to make a difference. We want to tap into that potential and show them that even at their age, they have the power to change their surroundings for the better. That’s why we’re launching a project focused on cleaning up the neighborhood surrounding our school. It’s not just about picking up trash—it’s about teaching our students responsibility, respect for their environment, and the importance of taking care of the place they call home.
Every day, our students walk through their neighborhood on their way to school, and while they enjoy the sights and sounds of the community, they can’t help but notice the litter and debris scattered around.
We want to show them that instead of feeling discouraged, they can take action to improve their environment. Through this project, our students will participate in regular neighborhood cleanups, learning valuable lessons about environmental stewardship and teamwork along the way.
We’re asking for materials that will help our students safely and effectively clean up the neighborhood. Gloves, trash pickers, bins, and trash bags will allow them to collect litter with ease, while safety vests will ensure they remain visible and protected as they work.
What’s even more exciting is that we hope our students will inspire the adults in our community to follow their lead. We believe that when people see young children stepping up to make a difference, it can motivate everyone to do better. We want our students to set an example, showing that it doesn’t take much to keep our neighborhood clean and beautiful—it just takes a little effort and care. With your help, we can create a cleaner, greener neighborhood and inspire both children and adults to take pride in our shared space.
