My Project
The items I am requesting for my classroom will benefit my students in several ways. The carpet will be a gathering place for us as a class. My class is a dual immersion class, speaking English and Spanish, and having the carpet will bring us together as a class to help with learning and collaboration with one another, as we will have class community discussions, and will read aloud some great chapter books. The carpet will also be an area for students when they are reading individually or with a partner, or simply playing a card game.
All donations to this project will give students the opportunity to strengthen our class community and boost their writing opportunities.
The notebooks will provide each student a place to do their writing and research assignments. Along with the notebooks, having the everyday needed classroom supplies will enable my classroom to have those basic needs met and become amazing writers and students.
