This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will support my professional growth by allowing me to explore new, creative ways to engage students in counseling. With access to a wider range of tools—such as books, fidgets, and visual aids—I can better meet the diverse needs of my students and tailor my approach to their individual learning and emotional styles. As I incorporate these resources into my sessions, I’ll gain valuable insight into what works best for different age groups and challenges. This hands-on experience will help me grow as a more effective, responsive counselor. In turn, my students will benefit from a safe, welcoming environment that encourages emotional awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth.
