Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Imagine being a room full of eager 4 to 5 year olds. You walk in and you're greeted with smiles and glowing faces. They may have had sleepless nights or rough mornings, but the joy you receive when you enter the room fades all of those things away.

My students are full of joy and are eager to learn.

They are already reading short stories, writing their names, and doing simple addition. I couldn't be more impressed with my bunch of Pre-K students.

My Project

We eat breakfast in the classroom everyday, however our classes are cleaned nightly. Therefore we are left with sweeping and/or wiping the tables down after breakfast because the class won't be visited again until after we leave for the day. Here lately we've been seeing several types of critters, roaches and spiders, when we come in or during the day. My fear is that one of the students are attacked by one of these critters during nap time.

With the steam mop I can clean the floor 100% better while the students are at lunch to avoid stains, spots, spills, or messes lingering for hours.

Our desire is to present a cleaner and safer learning environment for our babies.
