My Project
As a high school special education math teacher, I am aiming to create a safe space for my students to relax, decompress, and refocus. I am aiming to provide my students with a comfortable, flexible, and adaptable space for learning and potentially enhancing focus and well-being.
Having a futon and bean bag chairs in the classroom can serve as a cozy spot for individual work, a casual space for group collaboration, or even a place for quiet reflection.
Providing the students with games and significantly benefit students in the classroom by enhancing engagement, improving social skills, and boosting confidence. Games will offer a fun and interactive way to learn, and practice problem solving and critical thinking skills.
My students come from diverse backgrounds and home environments, and have a variety of disabilities. It is essential for me to have a welcoming and safe environment in my classroom.
