My Students

Fifth grade is such an adventure and it is a privilege to work with great students in the area of ELA and Social Studies. My students work hard to be their very best and deserve every opportunity to maximize their potential. Creating learning opportunities to meet the needs of all of my students is the priority.

The students at my school come from diverse backgrounds that differ in many ways including socioeconomically, culturally, and intellectual interests and aptitude.

The resources and tools available to my students should provide an educational experience that will prepare them to compete globally.

My Project

Strong technology skills are a necessity for students today. Chromebooks are the answer for classrooms because of their affordability, functionality, and ease of use for students. Utilizing Google Classroom helps learners function on a digital platform and become acclimated to future educational demands.

Accessing web-based tools and resources allow the classroom environment to meet the needs of students through differentiation.

Students practice in areas of weakness and build skills at the pace designed for them. Research and navigating internet resources are skills that require proficiency in elementary school. Students must also be given the opportunity to create, collaborate, and consistently utilize technology.
