Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will give our students the opportunity to relax in their own space. They will have the chance to use some cool down tools like a tent, pillows, plushies and other resources to help them get back on track. We want to make sure we focus on the student's emotions and how they feel. When a child is out of their element they can share with me or my co-teacher they need some time to cool down.
This calming corning will give them that chance to collect their thoughts and focus back on their learning.
We want to make sure our students feel safe and this calming corner will allow this.
