This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are growing and learning everyday. The Treehouse Hideaway corner will not only give them privacy but it will also support my students by providing them a designated area to go to regulate their emotions and feelings throughout the day.

My students will also develop social and emotional learning skills because this treehouse hideaway is built and appropriate for 1-2 students that will foster those 21st century skills parallel talking and working together to express their emotions and feelings with other students that will last a lifetime.

This Treehouse Hideaway corner will tackle and be essential for my students because so much is focused on the academic that we forget to foster one of the most important of the 5 domains, which is social-emotional, in this private corner treehouse they will have not only a soft cushion corner private place but can also look at the social-emotional books.

My students will be able to sit on soft cushions while looking at our social-emotional books while receiving a private corner treehouse away from all the active noisiest areas as they are relaxing and self-regulating their emotions and feelings.
