My students need an Apple iPad so they can incorporate an important technology aspect into their new school-wide recycling initiative.

My Students
My students are a community more than they are a school. They love coming to school to see their friends every day and are curious about each new topic they learn about. Our school is small so our staff is able to give great attention to each student. We have many special days each week and month to highlight student achievement, but also individuality and creativity.
At our school, everyone pulls for each other.
It's not class against class or student against student. It's more like kids learning their place in the community and how they can help each other change their world for the better.
My Project
Children use technology in ways we adults cannot even imagine. For our recycling initiative, students have expressed a desire to digitally document their sustainability efforts and share strategies with other schools in their district. So we are requesting an iPad (32 GB) to help our Green Team leaders develop their video campaign.
Green Team students will use the iPad to design targeted promotional videos that will inspire others in the community to recycle.
Their mission is to make a cleaner and healthier environment, and the technology will enable them to easily record their work, document their successes and create original material.
