My Students

My students are a very special group of children. We are the epitome of a melting pot school. We have children from five out of the seven continents.

Each child brings something special from their culture to the classroom.

Our class is also filled with a variety of different types of learners. They are always striving to do their best. We work hard but have fun doing it. The children love to read but will love have new books that aren't yellow!

My Project

This project will help give my students the ultimate Roald Dahl author. They will be able to work in partnerships and read many different Roald Dahl books. This will introduce them to an amazing scrumdeliumptious world. He is such an amazing and creative author. It is important that my students get to enjoy his other books besides the most famous ones.

“All the reading she had done had given her a view of life that they had never seen.” With these books, the children will get to compare and contrast the different Roald Dahl books.

They will be able to identify common themes, ideas, and even Dahl's unique writing language.

"Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" is largely inspired by Roald Dahl. The main character Luigi Lemoncello is the Willy Wonka of board games. This is a great end of the year read aloud that the children are excited to read every day. Thanks to your help, each child will get their own copy.
