My students need new books to inspire them to become lifelong readers. They will be using these books to help them create their own review blogs and to share their experiences with one another.
My students are some of the most hardworking students I have ever had the pleasure of working with as a teacher. They are passionate, driven, and dedicated young men and women who strive every day to always give their personal best. Our small, tight-knit school has worked hard to create a "champions' culture" and our students are at the very heart. The students are dedicated to their studies, passionate about serving their school and community, and are a truly inspiration for what our future holds.
My Project
My high school classes are writing review blogs throughout the year. In the hope to put some books in their hands that they have personally requested, I have created this project to assist them along their journey. These books will help them to communicate and collaborate with their classmates about meaningful books that help them connect with one another and the world around them.
In a world filled with cords and outlets, our students are attempting to revive their love for books.
With your assistance, these books will be on our new, beautifully handcrafted bookshelf made by one of our students.
