Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in 3rd and 4th grade, and are very eager to get this school year rolling. They have missed being in school and with their teachers and friends for the past few months.
Although this is an unprecedented school year, my students are resilient, strong, and dedicated to learning.
My Project
This school year will be very different for my students. Some will be coming into school. Others will be learning from home. The students who will be coming to school will have their movements restricted due to social distancing protocol. The trampoline will give my students an opportunity to move and let loose. The stress and fidget toys will help them deal with their anxiety.
Additionally, the bean bag chairs and floor mats will help create a comfortable environment for my students so they can do their best learning.
Last but not least, the iPad stand will help me view my students who are meeting virtually easily and the iPad charging port will help charge the iPads in the classroom.
