My Students
First grade is an exciting year! Students are growing as readers, writers, and mathematicians every day. They are learning to work collaboratively, problem solve, and building independence. My goal is to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe and respected.
Over 25% of the students at my school are military connected.
This means that we have students moving in and out of our school all the time. We are proud of our military families and aim to make our school feel like home.
My school works hard to ensure that all students' needs are met, both academically, emotionally, and socially.
My Project
I am requesting Flex-Space Wobble Cushions and Soft Seats for my classroom to add more flexible seating options for my students. First grade students come to school every day filled with energy and excitement! We have a lot to learn and have a lot of fun!
I strive to make my classroom a place where students feel welcome, safe, and supported.
We have several flexible seating options available in our classroom (i.e., wobble stools, scoop rockers) and I have recently added a "floor table" where students can sit on the floor and work. These cushions and seats would make it extra comfortable for students.
I know my students would LOVE these cushions/seats and use them for years and years to come! The wobble cushions would be especially helpful for students with extra wiggles for when they are sitting on the carpet for large group instruction!
