The Best Literacy Books to Promote Student Engagement

Help me give my students the literacy books they need to gain an appreciation for reading while working on grade level content such as author's purpose, citing information, comparing texts, and more.

My Students

My students are eager learners. They love reading and are the kindest souls.

They work hard despite all the hardships they face in their home life.

These kids have great attitudes when it comes to taking ownership of their learning.

My Project

These books are part of a literacy program that we use to implement the concepts taught in 6th grade literacy.

It is by far the most effective program I have come across as the books are engaging and students want to read the books while still learning how to cite information, learn the author's purpose, and more.

These books will travel to and from school each day as students study different concepts that will help them progress and be prepared for the future. Students will use these books to write argumentative essays.
