This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Thank you for stopping by! As a Middle School educator, I understand the importance of belonging and wanted to feel a part of a group. That is why a group of ladies came together to create The Belair Belles, a mentoring/fitness/dance team. We meet once a week, and we alternate what we go over. For example, one week, it's a book study; another week, it's etiquette 101; and the other two weeks, we are working out and dancing. We are just starting and noticed that we need to look like a team. That is where this project comes in; this will be one of many. We would like to provide each teen with their official team uniform. However, with every competition the need to look the part plays heavy, and given the fact that we are a Title I school, were many students can barely afford winter clothes, a team uniform is not possible.

I would like to provide them with an opportunity to look the part, the Cricut Maker will allow us to customize plain t-shirt into something that spectacular.

We will be able to look the part, they have been working so hard. This will allow us to practice, we will be ready for any competition. Thank you again.
