The Beginning of a Tremendously Creative and Engaging School Year!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students never stop surprising me with their eagerness to learn new things every school year. Yet, their creativity and ideas developed daily in the classroom are even more present when they have the essential materials! The pencils, colored pencils, erasers, dry-erase markers, and crayons are essential in my writing and math centers because my students can use them to brainstorm, organize, code, and solve! I have kids who tend to draw unique ideas that later transform into super-detailed paragraphs! I also have students who like to create stories or draw to solve their math problems!
I love seeing my students work enthusiastically in their writing and math lessons, and your donation will help them stay motivated and reach their academic goals.
For example, we focus on opinion, narrative, and informative writing throughout the whole school year, and something essential for this work is students' creativity in mapping, creating, and researching information. The materials will be helpful for their writing organization. The sticky notes will help students map their ideas for writing. The color paper will help me code and organize my student's work. The Mr. Sketch markers will be helpful for group projects and anchor charts.
When speaking about student learning, students should be able to use every resource needed to reach their goals. And having the right equipment can make a big difference!
