My Students

Tomorrow's innovators, problem solvers and leaders...these are the students I am blessed to work with every day. I teach an amazing and diverse group of gifted and talented students in grades K-12 for Hallsville School District in Hallsville, Missouri. My students are eager learners who jump into every lessons with curiosity and energy.

My Project

This project is unique in that it will serve a large number of students at all grade levels in my district. In our classroom we will learn to analyze the cube and apply algorithms to solve. Students will express their creativity by designing mosaics. We will explore geometry concepts and complete project based activities to solve real world logistical challenges.

The beauty of a Rubik's Cube is the vast array of concepts and skills that can be exercised when it is in the hands of the learner.

Having a full set of cubes would serve our district for years as well as allow me to send cubes to be checked out to my students learning at home.
