This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders love learning about the life of animals and plants found on planet Earth! They are currently learning about the life cycle of a Monarch butterfly!

As we're approaching learning about the life cycles of different plants, my goal is to have students plant their very own flower plant!!

In this project I have included mini clay pots, potting soil, acrylic paint, paint markers and mod podge! These items will be used for students to personalize their clay pots to keep for themselves or to give to someone special in their life!! I have also included a plant life cycle anchor chart, Plant Life Cycle book and a plant life cycle model. These materials will be used during our Plant Life Cycle Unit!

Please help my students learn the life cycles of different plants while also planting their very own flower plant! Thank you!!
