My Project
What I love about my students is their willingness to learn an instrument, having never played an instrument until they reached high school. Their motivation to learn an instrument has been awe-inspiring, yet we lack the resources to purchase the mouthpieces, drum sticks and items needed to build a music program.
A lot of the students live in poverty, low-income to homelessness and cannot afford to the rental fee at the start of the school year, so they choose not to participate in band.
With your help and donation, these students will be able to waive the rental fee due to not having to worry about purchasing the items and equipment needed to play their instrument.
