My students are a terrific group of learners who continually teach me how to make lemonade when lemons are thrown our way. They are simply the best and they inspire me everyday to face challenges and difficulties with smiles and a determined spirit.
This year I plan to help my scholars develop their musical talents by incorporating a hands-on musical program that will enrich our learning environment.
Each year I get to teach youngsters that are gifted in a variety of ways. I get singers, dancers and others who play a variety of instruments, so this year I am inspired to extend our learning opportunities to include the gift of music. I will incorporate my ability to play a few different instruments to conduct a musical program as an extracurricular activity.
Researchers agree that music improves and increases memory and retention and plays a positive impact on our brain. Incorporating music and bringing a hands-on experience will definitely enrich the lives of my boys and girls, bringing joy, fun and providing opportunities to develop gifts and talents that go beyond academics. The gift of music lasts for a lifetime and with your help we can provide a learning experience that will last forever.
