Our students are the best in the world! Our students are hard working, dedicated and excited to make music on a daily basis. Every day we work together as a team to become better people through the use of music and being a part of the ensemble. We connect with our community by performing regularly for a variety of events. We know that through music we can touch the lives of those we most care about, and we can connect with others we have never met.
Music is a universal language that speaks to all of us.
It transcends our differences and unites us. We are passionate about what we do, and we want to bring the power of music to the world.
My Project
Percussion students need proper mallets and sticks in order to make themselves and a band sound their best. Our band has grown to the point that we need more supplies to help them reach their best potential. We have grown from 8 percussionists to over 30 percussionists in our band classes over the past few years. While we are excited to be able to offer these wonderful students a musical education, our supply of mallets, drumsticks, and beaters are maxed out.
Having these mallets, sticks, and beaters will help me to teach these deserving students how to become quality musicians.
The demands of current band and percussion ensemble literature are such that percussionists are no longer those kids in the back of the room who beat on things. Having these mallets, sticks, and triangle beaters will help our students understand the color and nuance that is required of current percussion musicians.
