The Barn Yard

Help me give my students a chicken coop, brooder box, rabbit hutch and other resources for a place where we can safely keep our class pet and the chickens that we hatch throughout the year.

My Project

Our class wants to be able to share our class pets with the rest of the school, as well as provide them with some much needed safe and secure outdoor space.

A small outdoor space to safely house our rabbit and the chickens that we hatch throughout the year would make our learning environment more adaptable and useful for study.

A secure rabbit hutch would allow my students to put out class pet, Dinosaur, outside our classroom so that she would get some exercise and sunshine. This would also allow other students to view and interact with her.

Chicken incubation, care, and growth would be able to be expanded through the addition of an actual brooder box and a small chicken coop to allow students to watch the chickens grow and change in a safe and secure environment.
