This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First grade is a crucial time in a child's academic journey, where they begin to lay the foundation for future success. Unfortunately, many of our students come from underprivileged backgrounds and lack access to basic learning materials. As a result, providing them with the necessary supplies not only enhances their educational experience but also instills in them a sense of belonging and pride in their school community.
With your generous support, we can ensure that each student has access to essential school supplies such as pencils, crayons, headphones, notebooks, erasers, and glue sticks.
These supplies may seem simple, but they play a vital role in fostering creativity, improving fine motor skills, and facilitating hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.
Furthermore, your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of our students. By providing them with the tools they need to succeed, you are empowering them to reach their full potential and pursue their dreams with confidence. Every child is special and deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
