Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My new students are thoughtful, silly, and inquisitive learners who enjoy working on many different activities during the school day! What makes them special is that they all learn differently. I love that they love to come to school and that they look forward to learning and having hands on independent activities. My students are eager and ready to learn and they each have a different personality. Yes they are students with special needs but those special needs do not define them!
My Project
These are the basic things I am going to need during the year to ensure my students are successful! By selecting these items I know they will be used to ensure the students daily learning activities are prepared and they have the necessary materials to complete basic tasks! The plastic rolling bins will ensure that each student had their own personal work area storage, as well as additional storage for extra supplies. The laminator pouches and various other office supplies will help me out immensely and make having basic office supplies a little bit easier. The colored construction paper, crayons, and markers will ensure that the students has access to drawing materials that they can use for projects and downtime activities.
