This project is fully funded

I am a pre-k teacher to 18 loving children in the Bronx. The children come from low income families for the most part and many of the children are learning English for the first time. In Pre-K, we use a lot of disposable items such as markers and paint. It is impossible to teach an early childhood class without certain materials. I am requesting materials that I need in order to teach effectively. I need a stapler, paper, finger-paint, dry erase markers, and binding materials. I make a lot of books with my class and we are in need of materials to do this. The children also need dry erase markers and finger-paint. It is very important for them to express themselves through art and to write in Pre-K each day. I take good care of our materials and teach the children to respect property whether it is theirs or someone else's. These materials will go a long way; I can see their being plenty left over for next year's class. Our school does not replenish these materials and we could really use them. Children learn best when they are using hands-on materials and are actively involved in a lesson. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
