My Students
My students come together from a wide variety of backgrounds to build a strong school community. They are eager to learn and appreciate the opportunities afforded them.
The library is the heart and soul of our school.
I work hard to create a safe space where students can explore new interests and entertain new ideas. I believe books are the key to unlocking their best future.
As we move forward in a future rich with technology, it is important to provide students with the tools they need to navigate that environment safely.
My Project
Digital citizenship encompasses all elements of responsible technology usage, including cyberbully prevention, online safety, digital responsibility, and digital health and wellness. I will use these books to support students' understanding of these topics.
Reading these books will empower students to make healthy choices in the digital realm.
The titles included in this collection have been specifically chosen as the best books about digital citizenship exploring many of these themes – everything from keeping personal information private, meeting strangers online, and the importance of developing healthy screen time limits.
These books will be shared in read alouds with group discussions and will be placed on display for student checkout.
