My students need resources and materials to explore and understand the physical science of magnets.

My Students

Watching the faces of students exploring a science concept with hands on materials is priceless--such a different experience than just reading about it.

My fourth grade students are curious, excited, and motivated learners.

They attend a great (rather large) community school in Massachusetts that supports differentiated learning. As a self-contained classroom we enjoy exploring all areas of curriculum together.

My Project

The physical science kit on magnets will help students have a first hand experience of the power of magnets and how they are used in our world. The students will be able to work directly in small groups with the materials from the kit. This is beneficial to learning rather than just watching a demonstration. There is nothing better to a student than to find out new concepts on their own!

I believe that science is a key area of curriculum that students need to be engaged in.

Students that have exposure to hands-on learning, especially in sciences, have more excitement towards all learning.
