This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I try to encourage and cultivate creativity in my classroom as much as possible. I also work on building student ownership over our space and their work. This project will give students basic supplies- markers, colored pencils, pencils, sharpener, construction paper-, a means to display their art - command strips, double sided tape, laminating sheets-, and a tool to organize -storage container. These basic things make a big difference in our classroom.

Little things make a big difference and having basic art supplies available and easily accessible to students will help creativity to flourish in our classroom!

I hope to have a gallery wall where students can display the work they are most proud of. They will be able to access supplies to display their work and do so independently. These supplies will be used to support several projects in math, science and social studies this coming year. Art, like plants, needs several things to come to life and bloom. Please support us in cultivating the arts in our classroom!
