Students naturally have conversations about the books they are reading, for pleasure, on their own with no attached assignment. They are flipping to the back of the book, looking at the list of books, telling me what additional books I need to hunt down for them to read next. \r\n\r\nYou just have no clue how significant this! One of my students who used to dread reading, threw a whole tantrum when it was time to read... he now asks to read his book during free time.
