This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Exploring the Art of Printmaking!

Using the Gelli Printing Plates will give our students in fourth and fifth grades a hands on experience in the art of printmaking, and provide them with creative knowledge of this art form!

Pre-K through third grades will also be introduced to the exploration of printmaking through the use foam blocks.

The goal is to educate the students on this technique using the basic materials, then gradually move on to the Gelli Plates.

Printmaking is a fun and educational art technique that is also part of our curriculum.

I look forward to giving my students a more comprehensive look into the world of art in our amazingly fun, educational, and creative art class.
