This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students already have shown an astonishing interest in the art of mask making through passion based learning. The students are truly engaged in their art creations and less disruptive in the classroom due to their focus and passion of wanting to become an artist.

As the students progress, with your assistance, they will be able to become more creative, confident and independent and create more masks from different countries.

The students are preparing for a showcase for their parents, community, board members, and the staff. They are really excited about the event. Hopefully it will be successful.
