My Project

I have the privilege of teaching an incredible group of young women at an all-girls school, each bringing unique perspectives, creativity, and drive to our agriculture program. My students come from diverse backgrounds and are full of talent, curiosity, and ambition. Their enthusiasm for learning and hands-on projects has sparked our need for resources to fuel their creative journey and expand their skills through agriculture-themed art.

The materials I’m requesting—resin and molds, Shrinky Dink kits, diamond art supplies, double-sided paper, and labels—will be essential for our Project-Based Learning (PBL) initiatives and help us take our FFA Chapter projects to a new level.

Here’s how each item will support their learning: Resin and Molds - These materials will allow students to design and craft agriculture-themed art, like rings or ornaments, using hands-on techniques that align with what they’re learning about the land, plants, and resources. They’ll have the chance to build skills in design, planning, and craftsmanship—vital for budding entrepreneurs or artists!

Shrinky Dink Kits - These kits will let students create customized keychains, which they can sell as a fundraiser for our CSK FFA Chapter. They’ll not only be practicing artistic expression but also learning valuable business and fundraising skills as they manage this project from start to finish.

Diamond Art Diamonds - These materials will provide a unique form of creative expression, encouraging patience and precision as students create intricate designs. Diamond art is a calming yet engaging activity that lets students explore pattern-making and attention to detail, skills that are just as important in agriculture as they are in art.
