This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how curious, energetic, and eager to learn my students are. Each day, they come into our classroom full of questions, ready to explore the world around them. Many of my students are early readers, and we're working hard to build strong foundational literacy skills that will support them for years to come.

The Lakeshore alphabet activity carpet will be a game-changer in our classroom.

This bright, engaging rug turns our floor into a dynamic learning space where students can explore letters, sounds, and words through movement and play. Whether we're practicing phonics, forming sight words, or singing the alphabet song, this carpet will give students a hands-on, visual, and kinesthetic way to connect with language.

More than just a rug, it’s a tool that supports collaboration, builds confidence, and makes learning joyful. It will be a centerpiece for circle time, small groups, and literacy games helping every student feel included and excited to learn.
