My Project
Through the devastating Lahaina fires of August 8th, many of our students and their families lost everything. To be able to provide them with the basic school supplies that will be needed throughout the school year is important. Its unfathomable to think they don't have the money, transportation, or the local retail store in our community that was destroyed in the fires readily available to purchase these supplies. I want to continue to be able to provide any school supplies that our students need at anytime.
Our students are resilient, kind hearted, and driven to do well for themselves and their families.
By providing the rewards (snacks) to our students through our Renaissance program that recognizes and rewards students and staff for doing great things on and off our campus is very valuable. Rewards for Student of the Month, improvement awards "Up Yours" , golden ticket awards, Kealii Prides, reading awards, attendance awards, and so on will motivate them to continue to strive for excellence. We want to celebrate excellence.
